Half Shell has optioned a series of articles from New Yorker columnist James Surowiecki that chronicle the financial crisis. We collaborated with Surowiecki and wrote a treatment that focuses on several characters, themes and events of the ongoing financial crisis in the manner that TRAFFIC investigated the impact of narcotics into our country.

The idea is to tell the story of what happened from several different perspectives with a strong take on the events (all three Half Shell partners began their careers on Wall Street) and a great partner with incredible command of the subject and dedicated following in Surowiecki.

John Ridley has written a screenplay based on Surowiecki’s articles and our treatment.
